Mr. Davtyan, at first I want to ask you “Why Intercultural Dialogue and Learning”?
T.D. International Center for Intercultural Research, Learning and Dialogue is not an NGO that was created by a bunch of grant-seekers who discovered a new interesting sphere of action. People who established the organization were in a quite long search of their own Way in this life and the Work which matches that Way perfectly. We strongly believe that the World nowadays experiences a series of crisis. The emerging gap between different parts of the world, the civilization based on materialistic dominant, glocal environmental catastrophes, increase of violence, terror and spreading of the Culture of War all over the world are the Challenges which can be faced only through Intercultural Solidarity, Peace Culture, Higher levels of Self-Awareness and Dialogue on all the levels; between Civilizations, Generations, Genders, Religions, Nations and for sure Cultures.

What are the core values that govern your organization?
T.D. We believe in Dialogue. We think that as Albert Einstein has told “The challenges that the World faces now are not possible to undertake on the level of awareness on which is the society now”; so we strongly believe in Education in its widest sense, especially in Non-Formal Education and Intercultural Learning. We promote Voluntary work; we think that this is one of the main ways to show and to explain that there is an alternative to the current deepening social gap. We value Transparency, Trust and Mutual Respect. We believe in Creativity, Innovation and Action. We think that if Revolution - than Cultural Revolution, and if Transformation - then at first Self-Transformation... We think that Division of the world to the Materialistic and Spiritual parts is done for sure by a Materialist.
